TrueNAS Core (based on FreeBSD with ZFS) offers superb NAS options such as:
- dynamically expandable disk pools,
- disk redundancy,
- on disk LZ4 compression
- incremental snapshots
- and much more.
With our hosting experience we are well versed in setting up, managing and maintaining ZFS pools.
Most resellers of NAS boxes will likely not even know what ZFS stands for, let alone manage or optimise.
This means that we, more than most, can secure your data, manage disk pools proactively and replace disks safely as required.
NAS systems can be optimised for maximum storage or speed, (or a balance of the two). With fast PCI-e NVMe caches and 10G network cards these boxes are able to cope with 4K editing over the LAN.

An IFDNRG managed server comes with full support, we'll keep the base operating system and the installed service software up to date daily.
We'll look after your box as if it were one of our own. We have developed our own custom management software which enables us to properly manage and maintain a large number of discrete systems, enabling our customers to focus on their customers.
To offer such level of service, typically we will offer FreeBSD on our dedicated servers.
